About the Role
A Post Graduate / Management Trainee Analyst at Axience is hired typically as a fresh post graduate (MBA or equivalent) with or without prior experience. They work on basic market, strategic and financial research. Detailed responsibilities may include (but not limited to):
Be a part of the team working on various research projects aiding decision making for reputable firms and be exposed to a truly global professional standard
The role will require interest and flexibility to work night shifts and / or weekends (on permanent of rotational basis depending on candidate profile)
Research and Consulting:
Understand research objectives, design partial or full research strategies, interpret and analyze information for accuracy, exhaustiveness and applicability
Work on projects ranging from market entry study, opportunity assessment, competitivelandscape, target / supplier identification & benchmarking, newsletters, company profiles.
Collecting data and information from public domain and through telephonic interviews with related industry participants
Understanding, analyzing and presenting the data and information gathered in almost client ready format in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Financial Research:
Understand macroeconomic, finance & accounting concepts and various valuation methodologies including DCF and relative valuation
Collect data / information, arrange them in a logical fashion, layout spreadsheet models, analyze data and draw meaningful inferences
Analyze various business models of companies and have a thorough understanding of various factors impacting the business operations / industry
Work on projects ranging from industry research, equity research, investment banking support, financial modeling, making presentations and report writing
Central and Business Development:
Provide research support for exploring new business growth areas, RFP and proposals and also acts as a core member of pilot teams
Creation and maintenance client / potential client’s databases – verification of existing information, updating it on a periodic basis
Understanding Axience business & target customer segments and identifying contacts
Supporting on sales campaigns through sending standard and customized emails to set up meetings for senior management
Meeting preparation support – contact background and bios, company background/service offerings, latest developments

Research and Consulting: We support reputable large and medium size corporates and professional services firms in providing strategic and tactical business / market information, prospect intelligence, competitive intelligence / benchmarking, sector research, analysis and other consulting support. Also offer custom strategic research / assessment, ongoing outsourced analysts, digital support and due diligence services
Financial Research: We support investment banks, private equity firms, asset managers and hedge funds, family offices, sell-side research firms, rating agencies among others
Support areas include preparation of pitch books and info memos, comps and transaction analysis, financial modeling and valuation, investment screening and evaluation, equity / fixed income research, etc.
Support also encompasses across asset classes and products such as CLOs, ABS, CMBS and RMBS including data and analytics (loan level data analysis), bespoke deal surveillance, CLO overlap analysis and credit analysis including capital structure analysis and modeling
Central and Business Development: Axience Central and Business Development team directly reports into Senior Management and CEO and work on various activities related to process improvement, pre-sales, business development
The team supports leadership in research support for exploring new business growth areas, RFP and proposals and also acts as a core member of pilot teams
